The Epic team is lead by General Manager Rick Quinlan who offers over 32 years of experience in the electrical engineering industry. Since entering the electrical consulting engineering field, Rick has served in several key roles during his career. His technical and professional vision has been applied to nationally acclaimed accounts such as Lord & Taylor retailer, Smucker’s Corporation, GoJo Industries, and Fed Ex. Rick has also offered his experience through teaching lighting trends and design at the Venture Lighting Institute.

With over 30 years of experience, Mark Lien's experience includes many different facets of the lighting industry. He managed a lighting center, providing design and sales services to industry professionals and end users. He has designed lighting systems for a wide range of applications, including residential, retail, healthcare, manufacturing, and both conventional and nuclear power plants. He has spent most of the last decade in lighting education, presenting and teaching throughout North America, Asia, and the Middle East.
